What Thoddoo App is

Thoddoo App is a marketplace. Rooms, rentals and trips are offered by independent local vendors; speedboat operators and restaurants are listed for information. The vendor, not Thoddoo App, provides the service you book, and the booking is between you and the vendor.

Your account

Give true details and keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You must be 18 or older to book.

Bookings and prices

• Prices are shown in US dollars or Maldivian rufiyaa; the rate used is shown in the app. Prices and availability can change until you confirm.
• When you start checkout we hold the item for a few minutes. The hold is not a booking until you confirm.
• Some vendors confirm instantly; others must approve each booking first. You will be told which, and alerted when they decide.
• Hotel rooms are booked per night, with check-in from 14:00 and check-out by 12:00. You must tell us how many adults, children and infants are staying, and a room can only hold as many guests as it is listed for.

Paying

You can pay the vendor when you collect the item or arrive, or by bank transfer using the details shown for that booking. If you pay by transfer, upload your slip; the booking is paid once the vendor approves it. Deposits are held against damage or loss and settled when the item is returned.

Using rentals and rooms

• Look after what you rent, follow local laws and the vendor's conditions, and return it on time. Late returns can be charged.
• You pay for damage or loss beyond normal use.
• Ride and swim at your own risk. Wear a helmet where one is provided.

Chat

• Use chat to talk to a hotel about a booking. Be polite: abusive language, threats, spam and scams are not allowed.
• Do not share phone numbers, emails or links in chat. Keep the conversation in the app.
• You can report a message or block a person at any time. We review reports and may limit or close accounts that break these rules.
• If a hotel switches on the AI assistant, the answers it gives are general help written by AI. They are not a booking, an offer or a guarantee. The booking page shows the real price and availability.

Reviews

Reviews must be honest and about your own booking. We may remove reviews that are abusive, false or off-topic.

Our responsibility

We work to keep the app accurate and available, but we cannot promise it will never have errors or downtime. We are not responsible for a vendor's service, for events outside our control, or for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable. Nothing here limits rights you have under Maldivian law that cannot be limited.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Maldives.
